CRAFT PROJECT Crochet Rose and Rosette Use these flowers to adorn other projects. For example, you could place matching rosettes on the Lady Slippers instead of pompoms. Materials scrap yarn size "H" crochet hook Rose Instructions Ch 5. Join. 1st round: ch 4, sc in ring. Repeat 5 more times. 2nd round: in each of the 6 loops - sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc (6 petals). 3rd round: ch 4, sc in back of first petal. Repeat for remaining 5 petals. 4th round: in each of the 6 loops - sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc. Fasten off. Rosette Instructions Ch 20. 2 sc in each stitch all the way around (40 sc). Fasten off. Twist to form a rosette.
