Free Craft ProjectHeart Crochet Hot PadThis heart crochet hot pad is so decorative, you might want to use it as a doily instead! The overall pattern is fairly easy. Just take note of the special crochet stitch abbreviations that are used throughout. For example, "st sh" for starting shell and "d sh" for double shell. In case you don't know how, the instructions for these are located just below the materials list.

At the top center of the heart, sc in between the center 2 dc of the d sh of Row 10...
End the round with sl st in beginning sc. Round 2 - Ch 1. 4 sc in each ch-3 space all the way around, ending with sc in starting 1st ch sp. Join and fasten off. |
