Crochet Christmas Bells

All it takes to make these crochet Christmas bells is some scrap yarn. And changing the colors makes them perfect for other occasions as well. Like silver or gold for wedding and anniversary items.

Both bells were made from the same pattern. To get different sizes, simply use lighter or heavier yarn.

Materials

• scrap yarn
• size "G" crochet hook

Instructions

Ch 12 and sl st to form a circle (this is the hanging loop).

Round 1 - Ch 2. Work 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook.

Round 2: Without turning piece, 2 sc in 1st sc of Round 1. 2 sc in each of the remaining sc of Round 1 (12 sc).

Round 3: Continuing around, sc in each of the next 12 sc.

Round 4: *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next single crochet. Repeat from * around (18 sc).

Rounds 5 thru 10: For each round, sc in each of the 18 sc.

Round 11: *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around.

Round 12: Sc in each of next 24 sc. Sl st in next sc. Fasten off.
Weave in loose ends.
